UK: enhancing the effectiveness of the listing regime - FCA consultation feedback delayed

Last October the Financial Services Authority published a consultation paper with recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of the listing regime: see here (pdf). Under the new financial regulatory framework, which took effect on 1 April, the Financial Conduct Authority is now responsible for listing matters and, in this regard, it has published a short statement regarding its predecessor's consultation paper: see here. The FCA states: "This is an important and complex area and we are committed to working with stakeholders to achieve an appropriate outcome. This means that we have not been able to publish our feedback as we had planned. We expect to be able to do so later in the summer."
