The
Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association has published an updated edition of its
Corporate Governance Policy and Voting Guidelines: see

pdf). An overview of some of the changes is available
here. An addition to the guidelines concerns the holding of more than one directorship; a note has been added that it may be appropriate to vote against the (re-)election of a non-executive director holding more than four directorships in complex companies (a stricter approach is advocated where the director chairs a number of key committees).
