Following a
consultation earlier this year, the
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has confirmed the Government's plans for the introduction of the new Register of People with Significant Control: see
here (
pdf). Secondary legislation - the People with Significant Control Regulations - will be laid before
Parliament in January 2016, and companies will be required to keep a PSC register from 6 April 2016. Legislation will be introduced to bring LLPs into the PSC regime alongside companies. Finalised guidance will be published in January 2016. Further information is available
here.
