Europe: ESMA's technical standards for short-selling and credit default swaps

Europe: Council adopts Regulation on short-selling and certain aspects of credit default swaps
The Council of the European Union, at a meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council, yesterday adopted a Regulation on short-selling and certain aspects of credit default swaps (the United Kingdom delegation abstained).
