The Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy has published a consultation paper seeking views on various proposals concerning limited partnerships (including Scottish limited partnerships) the aim of which is reduce the risk of abuse: see here (pdf). The paper notes, for example, the National Crime Agency finding of a disproportionately high volume of suspected criminal
activity involving Scottish limited partnerships.
