The changes made to the Listing Rules by the Listing Rules (Listing Regime Enhancements) Instrument 2014 came into force today. The new provisions, intended to improve the effectiveness of the listing regime, include those designed to protect the interests of shareholders in companies with a controlling shareholder. Listing Principles are now provided for listed and premium listed companies.
