UK: the FSA's governance and authorisation advisory panel

The Financial Services Authority has announced that Sir Dominic Cadbury, Baroness Hogg, Lord Marshall, Sir Brian Pitman and Sir David Scholey, will become the first members of its new advisory panel on governance and authorisation. The panel members will join the FSA's significant influence function (SIF) interview panels - about which see here (pdf) - to offer guidance as well as contributing to the development of the FSA's regulatory framework for ensuring effective governance in financial institutions.
