The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform has published a consultation paper in which it sets out changes to the Companies (Audit, Investigations and Community Enterprise) Act 2004 and the Community Interest Company Regulations 2005. Amongst the changes being proposed is the clarification of the community interest test. The consultation paper includes a draft of the Community Interest Company (Amendment) Regulations 2009.
