The
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has published the results of an independent review it commissioned concerning the operation of the
Voluntary Code for Executive Search Firms: see

pdf). The report makes ten recommendations with the view of supporting the attainment of
the 25% target for women on FTSE100 boards, including calling on the investor community to play a more active role in challenging businesses on their plans for creating more gender balanced boards.
