The
Supreme Court has announced that judgment will be given next Wednesday in two cases -
Cavendish Square Holding BV v Talal El Makdessi and
ParkingEye Limited v Beavis - in which it was argued that certain clauses were penalty clauses and therefore unenforceable: see
here.
