The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee heard evidence yesterday from Professors Michael Power, Vivien Beattie and Stella Fearnley, as part of its enquiry into the role of auditors and concentration in the audit market. The proceedings are available to view here (Silverlight) or here (Windows Media Player).The Committee has also published the written submissions it has received following a call for evidence earlier this year: see here (pdf) and here (pdf). Many of the issues being considered by the Committee will feature in a green paper being published later today by the European Commission.
