An ad hoc, post-legislative scrutiny committee has been set up by the
House of Lords to consider the
Bribery Act 2010: see
here. The committee's membership was announced today: see
here. The chair will be
Lord Saville of Newdigate, a
former Supreme Court Justice. In very broad terms, the committee will explore whether the Act has achieved its objectives in terms of convictions and awareness of the Act among small and medium sized enterprises: see
here.
