Canada: Supreme Court to hear oppression remedy case

Earlier this month the Supreme Court granted leave to appeal in a case heard by the Quebec Court of Appeal, Black v Alharayeri 2015 QCCA 1350, that will provide the court with the opportunity to consider (again) the oppression remedy found in section 241 of the Canada Business Corporations Act 1985.
