Earlier this month the
Supreme Court granted leave to appeal in a case heard by the
Quebec Court of Appeal,
Black v Alharayeri 2015 QCCA 1350, that will provide the court with the opportunity to consider (again) the oppression remedy found in
section 241 of the
Canada Business Corporations Act 1985. The progress of the case (including the likely hearing date) can be followed
