According to research published today by the High Pay Centre, the chief executives of FTSE100 companies are paid 143 times more than their average employee: see here.Update (1 September 2014): The High Pay Centre has admitted errors in its calculations, and is now reporting a ratio of 130:1 and not 143:1.
