UK: Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Bill introduced in House of Lords
The Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Bill was introduced in the House of Lords last week and received its first reading: see here. The purpose of the Bill is to consolidate the legislation relating to co-operative and community benefit societies (formerly known as industrial and provident societies).
