The Government announced yesterday that it had published for the benefit of parliamentarians draft secondary legislation that will be made under the
Financial Services (Banking Reform) Bill (the Bill receives its
second reading next week): see
here. These include the draft Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Ring-fenced Bodies and Core Activities) Order; the draft Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Excluded Activities and Prohibitions) Order; and the draft Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Fees and Prescribed International Organisations) Order. Drafts for public consultation will be published later this year.
