Cranfield School of Management has published its Female FTSE100 Board Report 2012: see
here (
pdf). This reports that there has been a "step change" in the number of women appointed to FTSE100 boards following the publication of the
Davies report in 2011. The proportion of female directors on FTSE100 company boards at the end of February 2012 was 15%. The report's authors predict that if the changes seen in the past year continue, just under 27% of directors will be female by 2015, exceeding the target set by Lord Davies.
Update (15 March 2012): Lord Davies has published a progress report (
here,
pdf).
