As part of its
review of the law of trusts, the
New Zealand Law Commission has published a fourth issues paper titled T
he Duties, Office and Powers of a Trustee: see

pdf). The paper considers, amongst other things, which duties should be considered part of the irreducible core of the trust (and therefore incapable of exclusion) and whether limits should be set on what can be achieved through the use of exemption clauses.
