Europe: draft auditing Directive due in November

The Internal Market Commissioner, Michel Barnier, delivered a speech yesterday (at a conference on financial reporting and auditing organised by the Commission) in which he stated his intention to publish a draft auditing Directive in November this year: see here (in french, pdf).
