The Financial Reporting Council has published the latest edition of its quarterly strategic planning and progress report: see here (pdf). The report notes, inter alia, that over the next few months:- a progress report on the FRC's review of the Combined Code will be published towards the end of July (responses have already been published here).
- the FRC consultation on the draft updated guidance on going concern will close and the FRC will indicate whether the finalised guidance can be reasonably implemented in time for 31 December 2009 year ends.
- The Accountancy and Actuarial Discinpline Board will, subject to concluding discussions with scheme participants, publish the outcome of its review of the Accountancy Scheme and a full draft of the revised Scheme.
