The Financial Reporting Council has published its latest quarterly strategic progress and planning report. The report summarises developments in the first three months of 2009. It also outlines anticipated developments for the next three months including: - a consultation paper will be published on the complexity of financial statements
- the Auditing Practices Board will publish an exposure draft of the clarity versions of International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland) (about which see here).
- the Accountancy and Actuarial Discipline Board will publish the outcome of its Accountancy Scheme Review and consultation. Details will also be published of its final proposals and a full draft of the revised Accountancy Scheme.
