The European Commission has adopted a new Recommendation concerning the remuneration of listed company directors. The Recommendation contains guidance about the structure of remuneration and the manner in which it is determined. It supplements a couple of earlier Recommendations (2004/913/EC and 2005/162/EC). Recommendations are not binding on Member States but are intended to be persuasive. A copy of the new Regulation will soon be available here.
