The UK's Insolvency Practitioners Association has published a revised Code of Ethics for its members. The new Code come into force on 1 January 2009 and all IPA members must comply with it. According to the IPA:The Code is intended to assist insolvency practitioners meet the obligations expected of them by providing professional and ethical guidance. The purpose of the Code is to provide a high standard of professional and ethical guidance amongst insolvency practitioners".
