The
Cayman Islands Directors Association (CIDA) was formed earlier this year. One of its first tasks was to produce a code of conduct and this has now been published: see
here. The CIDA's code draws heavily on the
Chartered Director Code of Professional Conduct produced by the UK's
Institute of Directors. Both codes cover matters such as leadership, responsibilities, conflicts of interest and keeping up to date with good practice.
Note: the Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory; for further information see
here.
